On February 15, 1995, KNAC 105.5 FM, a Pure Rock station in Long Beach, California, was forced to change formats from Pure Rock to Spanish music. They had supported Metallica a great deal, and had a Mandatory Metallica radio show on before most other stations. On their last day, James and Lars were in the studio. On August 23, 1995, Metallica played at the London Astoria 2 for a few hundred Metalliclubbers in their first Metallica Club members-only club show. They played '2x4,' 'Devil's Dance,' and even got the opportunity to jam a bit on 'Better than You' before 'Last Caress.' This song later appeared on Track 12 of the Fan Can #1 CD, and now is track 5 on ReLoad.

Such A Shame
(Trauma)
from the Metal Blade Records release Metal Massacre II
There are very few recordings of Trauma, the band that Cliff Burton played with before he joined Metallica. This song is the best quality Trauma tune in circulation, from Metal Masscare II. (If you'll recall, Metallica's first release was on Slagel's original Metal Masscare album.) "Such a Shame" features Cliff on bass. This was recorded in 1982 before Cliff joined Metallica.
