09/22/2008 Entry: "METALLICA NOMINATED FOR THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME"

CLEVELAND - On Monday Metallica along with Run-D.M.C. and nine other nominees were selected for next years hall of fame class.

The other nominees selected were guitarist Jeff Beck, Bobby Womack, singer Wanda Jackson, Little Anthony and the Imperials, War, and disco and R&B group Chic.

The five leading vote-getters will be announced in January and inducted April 4, 2009, in Cleveland.

The ceremony is usually held in New York but is being held in Cleveland for the first time in over ten years. Tickets will be made available to the public for the first time.

Metallica arrived on the heavy metal scene in March of 1982 and 25 years later they are still selling out arenas around the world. This month the Metallica released their 9th studio album, the highly anticipated "Death Magnetic," which is #1 on the Billboard Charts!

Bon Jovi and Stevie Ray Vaughn were left off the ballot after being eligible for the first time. To be nominated an act must have released its first single or album 25 years prior.

Over 500 musicians, industry professionals and journalists vote on the induction process.

'bout time

yeah it is about time they got selected.

Only the most famous band in the land.

"To be nominated an act must have released its first single or album 25 years prior."

According to that statement, it is not "about time" because they just qualified this year.

Kill Em All was released 25 years ago. I don't think they are counting no life til leather or hit the lights on metal massacre.

Either way, they should get it on teh first ballot. Even if you look objectively, just based on the record sales alone, they own!

Congrats, MetallicA. I bet they'll get in on their first nomination.

Anyone going to the Moline show Nov. 8th?

Posted by The Thing that should not be @ 09/22/2008 02:17 PM EST

Can't deny what they've done. Did sabbath get in? I remember the ceremony, but it was the HOF and not just the UK version, right? Cause sabbath has to be there first. I like metallica better, but sabbath and zep started this stuff.

Posted by kurt @ 09/22/2008 02:38 PM EST

Thingy, you go to Moline? I'm in boston, so obviously not me. But I went to college in Davenport, IA, and went to a few shows in Moline(aerosmith and rush), and Iowa(zombie, AIC and queensryche). I remember lots of good crowds out there.

Posted by kurt @ 09/22/2008 02:40 PM EST

kurt, I'm going to the Moline show. I live in IL. It'll be a 2-hr drive for me, but it's not bad. I think Metallica played @ The Mark on the Field in '96/97 or so. I was thinking of going to see 'em then, but saw them in Indy instead. Did you ever see any shows @ The Mark?

Posted by The Thing that should not be @ 09/22/2008 03:57 PM EST

Ya, the ones I mentioned above(rush and aersomith). I left Iowa at the end of February 1996, so missed metallica coming through. I saw them in Mass on the met/gnr tour shortly before I moved to Iowa, then didn't see them the whole time I was there.

Had lots of good times on Rock Island and worked at Halftimes in Davenport for three years.

GREAT VID of BBS Live! Is it just me or have the back up vocals gotten waaayyy better as of late???

damn Manguy, you splitting hairs? "Well technically they just qualified....blah blah blah", it was just a figure of speech....jeez. lol

Posted by The General @ 09/22/2008 05:11 PM EST

good for them!

Posted by xino @ 09/22/2008 05:26 PM EST

Not to downgrade the other noms, but aside from Run D.M.C. and War, the other 6 groups are clownshoes. 'Tallica should be in, first ballot. Good times!

Posted by Metallidave @ 09/22/2008 06:31 PM EST

Anyone know the 2nd week sales for DM yet? they should be out today I think..maybe im wrong. Congrats on the RRHOF Nomination as well of course..knew this was gonna happen.

-damn Manguy, you splitting hairs? "Well technically they just qualified....blah blah blah", it was just a figure of speech....jeez. lol

Now I feel sad on the inside:(

Posted by manguy @ 09/22/2008 09:04 PM EST

The rock and roll hall of fame is a joke. It is run by the people who run Rolling Stone magazine, who have a HUGE bias against Kiss. Kiss was eligible back in 1999 and STILL are not inducted. That is a disgrace. And also why all the rap hip hop artist? It's the ROCK AND ROLL hall of fame not CRAPPY RAP MUSIC hall of fame. Again... ONE... HUGE ASS.... JOKE.

Posted by Dragonboots2005 @ 09/22/2008 09:27 PM EST

Rap/hip hop music and a metal band...yes, I second that, the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame is HUGE ASS JOKE.

Congrats Metallica, you guys have won yourselves more..................................publicity.

Chah...CHING! More album sales, more money to stuff into your already deep/full pockets...peace bros.

Posted by OneMinuteCloserToDeath @ 09/22/2008 10:13 PM EST

I like some Run DMC lol

Posted by Nick @ 09/22/2008 10:55 PM EST

I think OMCTD is bipolar. Pre-release, he was all lollipops and blowjobs about Metallica, now he's all returning "defective" cds and talking about the already full/deep pockets. Dude, get some therapy! (I'll give you the name of my electroshock guy if you like, he's almost got me to where I don't hear the voices anymore.)
Yeah, RRHOF is lame. By calling themselves that, they pretend they have some authority, but then they do stupid crap where they basically blacklist acts for things that have nothing to do with the music or the legacy of a band. You have to be "cool" with the writers to get in, which basically means if you're a lame college band, you're in, if you're just an incredibly popular real rock band, you don't make the cut. So don't be surprised if the Napster issue keeps Metallica out permanently. A bunch of writers who would file C&D's all over the place for someone who stole their precious drivelings and posted them online will pass judgement on Metallica for daring to suggest that you shouldn't download an album for free. (Not trying to beat a very dead horse, just pointing out the ridiculous hypocrisy of the journalists that ripped Metallica over it.)

Posted by Azrael @ 09/22/2008 10:59 PM EST

Azrael, I was just thinking the same thing..It seemed like OMCTD was gonna buy DM and blow his fuckin load all over it before he even listened to it, now he is like the fuckin anti-metallica...OMCTD, you are a complete joke

Posted by Mark @ 09/23/2008 12:09 AM EST

I 3rd that... at least he isn't saying anymore corny shit lol.. for now at least....

Posted by Nick @ 09/23/2008 12:36 AM EST

OMCTD isn't anti-metallica. He's just anti-RRHOF, a surprisingly logical thing.

Anyway, Metallica joining such "impressive" luminaries such as Madonna, Bob Seger, Bonnie Raitt and The Bee Gees? Proof (as if anymore was required)that the mainstream media is completely clueless about everything.

Posted by caspian @ 09/23/2008 07:33 AM EST

How the F do you leave Stevie Ray Vaughan (they even spelled his name wrong) off the ballot... true idiots. Metallica and SRV in the same induction would be cool.

Posted by Def @ 09/23/2008 09:48 AM EST

xino, not lame at all. Congrats to you and your band.

Posted by KURT @ 09/23/2008 11:43 AM EST

Heard the Mystery Mix of Broken Beat and Scarred??

I still prefer the CD Version compared to that.. i dono why.. maybe my ears.

Posted by ZeNoTaLLCA @ 09/23/2008 07:42 PM EST

The tracklistings been out for 2 months, the album for 11 days. You'd think I would've realized a while ago that the name of the song was BROKEN BEAT & SCARRED... not BEATEN.

Geez.

Posted by IS-JD @ 09/23/2008 11:06 PM EST

put aside the lameness that is the RRHOF...what band would be big enough, relevant enough, and good enough to induct Metallica and play their songs (like Metallica did for Black Sabbath)??

Posted by missing1inside @ 09/24/2008 12:21 AM EST

the mystery mix of BBS is awesome. I think it blows away the CD version. It seems like it has more treble, and you can hear the guitars better. I have it on a CD with the GH3 tracks. After it plays then shuffles to another track, you can hear the sound difference.

Posted by The General @ 09/24/2008 09:23 AM EST

My issue with DM:

When I play my DM CD in my car, I don't hear any "clipping." I do hear it skip some, but my CD player is an Insignia from Best Buy and I went cheap on it. I The damn thing will skip on a brand new CD. I actually think my factory stereo was better. I noticed that when I put my new deck in it didn't sound as clear and sounded muffled-maybe the wattage is too much for the factory speakers. Again, my CD player does skip more than my factory deck. I think it has one eye and doesn't read correctly or maybe it's dusty; heck I don't know. I mainly got it for the MP3 jack and I don't even use my MP3 player anymore. To me, when driving, it's easier to just put in a CD instead of scrolling through artists and playlists. If I want to hear "For Whom The Bell Tolls" I know which CD to grab and put it in-takes me about 3 seconds, compared to scrolling with an MP3 player. Anyway, the CD does sound a little too loud in the mix, but it doesn't bother me all that much. I've mentioned before that I usually turn this one up to 10 while driving and 7 or 8 on other CDs. I haven't listened to the CD in headphones. I think I can hear a little difference through my computer speakers, but not enough for me to get stressed out about it. I now wonder, though, when driving, am I really missing out? It kind of takes the fun out of still learning the music and how it flows. Instead of enjoying the music, I wonder if my ears are bad or what, because I really don't hear anything. Maybe it's because I haven't downloaded the GH versions of DM. I don't have an Xbox so why should I? Maybe I got a good CD. To me it sounds fine, but again, I just kind of listen for "clips" now instead of enjoying the music. I still love the CD! It hasn't left my CD player since I got it on 9-12.

Posted by The Thing that should not be @ 09/24/2008 11:59 AM EST

CD is fine and so it the DM album. Stop complaining.

Posted by Me @ 09/24/2008 01:30 PM EST

I'm with you The Thing, I've been listening to the CD in my car and on my iPod non stop since it leaked a week before it was released. I never once heard any clipping or anything that everyone else is going on about. I went as far as downloading the GH3 versions and playing them side by the the CD version, some parts of the songs sounded better on the GH3 and some parts sounded better on the CD.

I listened to the Mystery remix, sounds a LITTLE crisper, but not enough for me to complain about it.

And I've actually found all this bitching about the quality has made me enjoy the album less! When I'm listening to it I'm focusing more on if there was an distortion than just enjoying the damn thing.

Great album, best album since the Black album... enough said...

Posted by NoCreativeNameGuy @ 09/24/2008 01:49 PM EST

Nocreative.....don't let the griping do that. I made a point to listen for the complaints, decided it doesn't bother me(although that occasional beeping sound-which I assume is the "clipping" I could do without), and have listened to it constantly.

The only time it leaves my car stereo is when my 5 year old requests the S&M version of ONE, which is EVERY single morning I take him to school. As soon as he's dropped off, it's right back in. No amount of bitching will take away from my listening pleasure. Hell, I ignored most of the St. Anger bitching, I think I can ignore this.

Anybody watched "Making Magnetic" yet? I watched it once--the one thing that sticks out in my mind is that the few times you see Rick Rubin he's lying down on a sofa in the control room while everboy is working. Rough gig, huh?

Posted by EET FUK @ 09/24/2008 04:06 PM EST

Rick Rubin is worthless. He motivates GREAT bands to create the best music they can. And that's all. He's no producer, not even close. More like Jabba the Hut. And his goon engineers are junk.

Posted by The General @ 09/24/2008 04:49 PM EST

I just finished watching it. I love all the behind the scenes stuff. I think the best thing he did was get them to get back to their initial vibe, as well as the whole "this sounds good, this doesn't". He has a good ear for that stuff.

However, someone on his team did screw up something with this whole loudness/compression bit. It doesn't bother me, but it should never have happened either.

Posted by kurt @ 09/24/2008 05:30 PM EST

For the second straight week...Death Magnetic is still the worlds best selling/favorite album!!!!

Death Magnetic Rules!!!!

It's the only album my ears have had the pleasure of listening to since 9/12! I absolutely love DM! I only play the CD version...Why?...It sounds better...It's got more balls and it hits you like a 10 ton heavy thing! It's great fuckin' music. Audio flaws aside, it's still some of the best damn music I have ever heard from any band, ever! Metallica delivered a MIGHTY ALBUM!!!!

Fuck the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's a Joke and thats no joke, I'm dead serious.

Metallica Is The Greatest Heavy/Rock Band Of All Time!!!!....the slave becomes the master...peace bros.

OMCTD .. didnt you say you returned a "defective" DM CD..i dont get it man..you are one strange person..

Posted by Mark @ 09/24/2008 10:42 PM EST

That's right. Out of the two copies I purchased, I did return the one sealed copy of DM. There's no rush for me to go and purchase multiple copies, yet...depends on what Metallica and/or Q prime/Warner bros. have to say about the current state of DM...if it's here to stay, then something tells me I'll be heading back to Best Buy...peace bro.

Posted by OneMinuteCloserToDeath @ 09/24/2008 10:57 PM EST

Hey guys, I just downloaded a torrent of "Demo Magnetic" and it definitely is Metallica and it definitely is earlier versions of the songs on Death Magnetic. Some different words, different singing, riffs etc...is this in one of the box sets or what? I haven't heard about it, but all 10 songs are here and they're pretty damn good. It's interesting to hear the differences, I just don't know where it came from. I only have the regular CD from FYE, none of the special boxes. I didn't know this was with one of the boxes if it was. Insights anyone?

Song titles are:
1. Hi Guy
2. Neinteen
3. Black Squirrel
4. Casper
5. Flamingo
6. German Soup
7. UN3
8. Gymbag
9. K2LU
10. Ten

Posted by BoNeZ @ 09/24/2008 11:47 PM EST

Nevermind, I see it came in the coffin box set. Hate to say it, I think some of the songs sound better on the demos. Not the words or singing or music wise, but sound wise. Like on UN3, the symphony is much more audible throughout the song.

Posted by BoNeZ @ 09/25/2008 12:04 AM EST

337,000 sales in Week 2 still #1 in USA.

also #1 in UK in second week

Excellent

Posted by andrew @ 09/25/2008 05:21 AM EST

Still not sure which song I like best. BBS is such a cool one, but, right now, it's hard for me to choose a favorite. I still need to learn the lyrics for That Was Just your Life. Surprised to see that the lyrics for The Day That Never Comes use "son" for the shine part. Any cool lyrics stick out? I like the "Breakin' your teeth/Cuttin' your feet on the hard earth runnin.'" Also, "The Slave Becomes The Master" is cool.

Posted by The Thing that should not be @ 09/25/2008 11:40 AM EST

I think the lyrics for the most part are amazing...some that stand out are.

"I blind my eyes and try to force it all into place, I stitch them up, see not my fall from grace.
I blind my eyes, i hide and feel it passing me by, I open just in time to say goodbye"

"Like a raging river drowning when i only need a drink"

"Crawl from the wreckage one more time, Horrific memory twists the mind"

"In the heart of evil man
Plant the seeds of my own plan
Strong and powerful will fall
Find a piece of me in all
Inside you all
Bow down
Sell your soul to me
I will set you free
Pacify your demons
Bow down
Surrender unto me
Submit infectiously
Sanctify your demons"

Im sure there is more that im not thinking of right now.

Posted by Mark @ 09/25/2008 01:22 PM EST

There is something about the part in All Nightmare Long when the guitar and drums kick in when he says "Hallucination!" Idk I love that part.

so met on tour have not updated the content for a couple of weeks or so, does anyone know for sure that they started the us tour, has it been postponed, it is usually updated fairly quickly and yet nothing from 9-21 in arizona i think it was

ah, i guess that makes sense then, damn that is a long time to wait to see new footage

Posted by Curtis Moon @ 09/25/2008 05:37 PM EST

It's been a while since i posted, but that's due to the fact that my house got struck by lightning and my computer was fried. Now I'm writing after getting DM at Bestbuy cd & LP. Death Magnetic is definitely an amazing cd....even my brother who like metallica but is not a hardcore fan said it's a great album. he didn't care for much after TBA, but he likes this one. All my cousins and good friends all agree it's something special. Anyway I can't wait to get tix for NY & NJ end of Jan & Feb 1st...i'd like to go to all 3 shows.......my review of all the tracks.......
1. TWJYL: 10/10 awesome opener and prob one of my fav metallica songs.
2. End of the line: 7/10 maybe my least favorite of the album. it has all the parts of the new song that i like but for some reason it's my least fav. still a great song though
3. BBS: 10/10 difft lyrics for metallica but they fit the song perfectly and i love the guitars and the way the whole song gets me pumped up. destined to be a classic
4. Day that never comes: 10/10 great lyrics, great melody, definitely defines metallica....great song, can listen to it all the time and not get bored.
5. all nightmare long: 10/10 i like the title and it is a great song for the album and for metallica to use to promote themselves. awesome thrash, awesome chorus, awesom guitars....def a hilight of the album.
6. cyanide: 9.5/10 this one brings a smile to my face everytime i hear it, even though it has some of the darkest lyrics on the album. cool groovy song that gets better each time i hear it.
7. U3: 9/10 A lot difft than what i was expecting. However it's a great song with great melodies and cryptic lyrics. A 100x better than U2 but i think still falls short of Unforgiven. I can see why James wanted it to be on the album.
8. Judas Kiss: 8.5/10 Starts off very justice like and then changes to a load-era sorta song, until the chorus......song is great but when the chorus kicks in, its gold.....great chorus and a great underrated metallica song.
9. S & R: 9/10. I love this song. I Heard a bunch of people say that they don't like it that much but I think it's amazing. The solo by James is brilliant and definitely deserves recognition. The song basically tells a story if u listen closely. No it's not Ktulu or Orion, but it's still very very good. I'm just glad they had the balls to put an instrumental on such an important album.
10. My Apocalypse: 10/10 very battery like.....awesome thrash....hope they play this one live. at first i was a little surprised by this song, and didnt know what to think, but now I love it, i love it, i love it......another classic!!! God Bless Metallica and bless Rick Rubin for giving them the inspiration to make a killer album.

Posted by MONSTER @ 09/26/2008 12:41 AM EST

my ratings - for anybody who still cares

1. That Was Just Your Life: 8/10

2. End of the Line: 7/10

3. Broken Beat & Scarred: 9.5/10

4. Day That Never Comes: 9/10

5. All Nightmare Long: 9/10

6. Cyanide: 8/10

7. Unforgiven 3: 8/10

8. Judas Kiss: 9/10

9. Suicide & Redemption: 8/10

10. My Apocalypse: 9/10

I don't believe any of them are a perfect 10. By the way, I think "Creeping Death" "Ktulu" "Master of Puppets" "Leper Messiah" "Four Horsemen" "Unforgiven" "Damage Inc." "Justice For All" "Dyers' Eve" are all 10's. I love Death Magnetic, but while it's a masterpiece album, I don't see any masterpiece standout songs. And yes maybe I'm critical of Metallica, but they did this to themselves by releasing 4 nearly flawless albums in the early 80's. That said, I think this is a step very much in the right direction and I every minute of the new music.

Posted by tony @ 09/26/2008 09:45 AM EST

My ratings for anybody who still cares:

TWJYL - 8.5/10
Great song, great opener, love the pace.

EOTL - 9/10
Love this song, one of the better riffs and endings on the album

BBS - 8/10
Catchy, made to be played live with 50 thousand fans yelling "show your scars!"

TDTNC - 8/10
Great song, epic like. Closest to the song One that they have, great to listen to with crazy riggage to finish it off.

ANL - 9.5/10
Love this song! Fav on the album, think it can challenge some of Metallica's best songs from the past.

Cyanide - 5.5/10
I know lots of people really like this one but I think it's the worst on the album. I find it boring, can't get into it. Feels it belongs on Load.

U3 - 7/10
Nice song, gives the eardrums a break from the rest of the CD, lets James show off his vocals. Rather a basic song, doesn't top the original.

Judas Kiss - 7.5/10
At first I wasn't a big fan of this song, then it grew on me little by little. Now i'm really into it.

S&R - 5.5/10
I have trouble getting into this one as well, I find myself skipping this song, probably more for the length. I liked Met's previous instrumentals but this one just doesn't grab me.

My Apocalypse - 8.5/10
Love this song, seems to be the Battery this album. Crazy fast song with groves that keep kicking you in the teeth.

I'm with Tipper that a 10/10 would mean Master Of Puppets or One. So that's how I tried to rate them.

Honestly guys, if you think DM is a "great sounding album" production wise then you're really kidding yourselves.

Posted by caspian @ 09/26/2008 08:45 PM EST

Caspian... let people have they're own opinions. Your preaching has worn out it's welcome. Go listen to Slayer and the abominations they've called a career since reign you prick.

Posted by MOTORBREATH666 @ 09/26/2008 09:42 PM EST

All Nightmare Long, Metallica has to embrace this one, play the holy fucking hell out of it live! It ranks in the classics as far as I can see. Judas Kiss as well, it's a riff attack! And the more I listen to The Day That Never Comes, the more I dig it... the solo at the end is completely classic!

Posted by Yukoner @ 09/26/2008 10:56 PM EST

And I still got a cd player connected to an equalizer so if I keep fucking with it I can make the CD sound pretty good, although production was fine to me, I don't think ol Flemming woulda done any better, mixing may be a lil goofy but I ain't picky. I can hear all the bass/guitar/vocals pretty well.

Posted by Yukoner @ 09/26/2008 11:00 PM EST

kudos to MOTORBREATH666. Everyone needs to shut the fuck up.

Posted by Nick @ 09/26/2008 11:49 PM EST

Did Metallica stop playing 'Enter Sandman' at their shows? I've read this a few times about recent concerts they've done. Thats kinda dumb I think... that would be like Kiss not doing 'Rock & Roll All Nite' or Van Halen not doing 'Jump' or something like that...

Posted by Dragonboots2005 @ 09/27/2008 12:40 AM EST

Yes, you are absolutely right, everyone (including caspian) is entitled to their own opinions...it's very simple, opinions are a lot like assholes(caspian), everyone has one...now quit kidding yourself, DM is a mighty, motherfuckin'(slightly flawed) musical MASTERPIECE!!!!...the next album (DM2) in 2010 will be just as good or even better perhaps, I promise...peace bros.

Posted by OneMinuteCloserToDeath @ 09/27/2008 02:04 AM EST

2010? lol Good luck on that horrible prediction lol. I will commend you if it happens, but I highly doubt it.

Thingy, I agree and how about these ones

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwbXCE8LByI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tty2NvZidIA&feature=related

I'm also very happy with the new album...but the next album can't come soon enough, I can't wait to hear these and the links you posted somewhere on DM2...gotta admit, at first I was almost let down that this stuff didn't make it on DM, I guess Metallica could of but choose not to do a double album again...save some for later...sort of like the LOAD and RELOAD albums, but heavier and better music this time for the most part...oh yeah and this time around they have Rick Rubin pushing them to the limits and inspiring them to make better music. So far, so good...

Posted by OneMinuteCloserToDeath @ 09/27/2008 02:51 AM EST

Yeah I know, the next album won't be called DM2...I just call it that for fun...so don't get all bent out of shape and a 2010 release date is smart and wishful thinking.

Posted by OneMinuteCloserToDeath @ 09/27/2008 03:10 AM EST

I've realized some things. I've realized hearing people bitch on here about the sound quality of DM has gone too far and comparing certain things to the "Load" era like it's a bad thing. DM is a GREAT album, and I love Load. Load is a masterpiece, but because some people were expecting the black album two, Justice two, Master two, Fade two, or kill two makes it crap? It's very good music.

What the fuck ever. Expand your horizons. Listen to some Bob Dylan. If not, then listen to your crap bands that wear masks and strive on only playing fast shit with no method or bands that never change there style and no one gives a shit about. Like AC/DC.

Next time you feel like bitching, go outside and shoot some hoops.

um. . . despite the gimmicks, which i could care less about, slipknot is a brilliant band josh. oh yeah, and load is a really great album, i agree, except for the cure (ughh).

8/15 FOTW linked by OMCTD is clearly Shine (listen to the lyrics.) So if that song had made it, we would have had another ballad, which I think would have been too many for the album from the perspective of creating a roaring return to form. They can save this one for a soundtrack or perhaps as the ballad for the next album. I'd hate to have them go "here comes a new Metallica song" and have it be a "meh" ballad.

Some of the other riffs in those fotw's appear to be alternate workings of riffs/ideas that did make it onto the album. For example, I hear some parts of cyanide and tdtnc in the one where James plays the piano with his foot. That one big monster riff where James has his head down on the chair sounds promising and unfamiliar.

Well, probably these songs are going to be on the same album with "Temptation"...Remember when SKOM came out & we saw the movie we all said"Fuck! Why isn't this song on the album???"Well I guess Dickinson had a point when he said to Lars that the management needs a head examing!

Yes, I am a greedy bastard. I want EVERYTHING. All the presidio shit, all of this stuff that didn't make it. Shine/Holy revolver, whatever it is. These days, it is possible they release an Itunes exclusive. I don't care how, I just want it all.

I stopped at Newbury comics today and picked up the new Rolling Stone and Guitar World with met on the cover. I was hoping for a single, but it seems they have finally given that up.

I just hope they embrace some of the songs that didn't make the album and use them for the next one. I think that there are some diamonds in the rough. You think by now someone interviewing them would come up with this question to ask them. Wouldn't you?
